CORE Glow + Lethbridge Legacy Park

After many years of planning, this summer the Lethbridge Legacy Park Discovery Playground is going to be completed and open to the public. This legacy playground is no ordinary playground and is an inclusive area to all ages and abilities and features an extensive CORE Glow trail. It also has a number of exciting features, including a climbing wall, hammock orchard, trampoline path, outdoor classroom, and a central sensory garden. This state-of-art installation is part of the $22 million dollar project that began in 2015.

The Lethbridge Legacy Park is located in the community of Blackwolf, and comprises 73 acres, making it the first major park in North Lethbridge. The park has over 6km of paved and natural trails, a skateboard park, sports courts, picnic shelters, and a spray park. I think it’s safe to say this is going to be one incredible discovery playground that is sure to be a hit with everyone!
